Grzegorz Rychwalski is a lawyer, expert in the field of pharmaceutical and healthcare market, Polish and European legislative process and in the field of cooperation with government administration, public affairs, policies and legislation. He is Vice-Chairman of the Health Business at OECD (BIAC), member of Critical Medicine Alliance at DG HERA of the European Commission, and Leader of the IP Council of the Lewiatan Confederation.
For over 15 years, he's been actively involved in co-creating regulations and legislative ecosystems of the UN, EU and PL with documented achievements in Geneva, Brussels and Warsaw. His activities in the field of improving the legal and business environment have an impact on the functioning of the pharmaceutical industry in Poland and the EU.
He also gained experience as head of the Legal Department in the Department of Drug Policy and Pharmaceuticals of the Ministry of Health, attaché for Medicinal Products and Medical Devices at the Permanent Representation of the Republic of Poland to the EU in Brussels and vice-chairman of the Group for Pharmaceuticals and Medical Devices of the Council of the European Union.
He is a former delegate of the Polish Government to the working groups of the Council, the European Commission and the World Health Organization.
Awards and distinctions: a letter of congratulations from the Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland, presence on the List of 100 most influential people in the Polish healthcare sector in 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024 of Puls Medycyny, and the Golden OTIS Trust Award in 2023.
