Janusz Kobus worked, among others, in the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and in Castrol Poland. From 1996, in the authorities of the Polish Chamber of Automotive Industry, he was elected as President of PIM in 2022. Professionally, he works for Pilkington, serving as Regional Director of AGR – EEMEA region. He participated in the European Commission's Automotive Sectoral Programs CARS21 / CARS2020 / Gear 2030 "Action Plan for a Competitive and Sustainable Automotive Industry in Europe". He was the Vice-Chairman of the Steering Committee of the INNOMOTO program at The National Centre for Research and Development.
