Lidia is an industrial engineer graduated from the University of Zaragoza (EINA).
She has a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering (specialized in biocompatible materials for prostheses and tissues) and a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, having carried out her research on the aesthetic properties of biopolymers. She is a senior researcher with 10 years of experience developing sustainable plastic materials for industrial products with the aim of promoting the circular bioeconomy business line in the development of technical and sustainable plastic formulations for industrial applications. She has experience in several research and innovation funding programmes at national (Spain) and European level: FP7, H2020, CBE (BBI), Horizon Europe, and Life.
