Antonio Saravia is the Corporate Director at Red.es, a public entity under the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Digital Transformation of Spain.
He is also an Associate Professor of Digital Economy at the University of Alcala de Henares. Antonio holds a degree in Computer Science from the Polytechnic University of Madrid and an Executive MBA from IE Business School in Madrid.
With over 30 years of experience in the telecommunications and information society sector, Antonio has contributed with his expertise to renowned organizations and companies, including CERN, Telefónica, and the American company MCI Worldcom (now Verizon).
Since late 2002, he has been a key member of Red.es, where he has spearheaded the launch and execution of national initiatives and programs dedicated to the digital transformation of administrations and businesses, as well as driving economic growth and job creation through ICT.
He has held the position of Corporate Director since June 2019.
