María Eugenia Díaz-García is the director of the Sector Strategy department at SERCOBE, the Spanish National Association of Capital Goods Manufacturers. She is an industrial engineer specialized in electrical engineering and holds a master's degree in electrical engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid.
She has developed her professional career at SERCOBE, where she joined 12 years ago as head of the area of electrical capital goods and energy within the internal market department. She has been responsible for different working groups on European energy policy, electricity sector at national level, standardisation of electrical equipment, electric vehicle and energy recharging and storage systems and R&D.
María Eugenia participates in the Electrotechnical Coordination Committee of the Spanish Association of Standardization and in the certification committee of AENOR, a conformity assessment company. Since January of this year, she has directed the Sector Strategy department from which she is coordinating the Spanish Technological Platform for the Decarbonization of Industrial Sectors GREEN FUTURE PLAT.
