At RTDS, the leading Austrian advisory firm specialising in EU-funded research and innovation projects, he is COO and Senior Manager, co-ordinating a number of Horizon Europe projects, including SUSFERT, which develops more sustainable, multifunctional fertilisers for phosphorus and iron supply, fitting into existing production processes and EU agricultural practice. SUSFERT is striving to decrease EU dependency on mined phosphate rock by 40%. Mikael leads ongoing projects and proposals with both a conceptual and practical business and marketing approach. He studied Business Economics and Organisational Studies at the University of Reading, UK.
