Throughout his studies, Sven got intrigued by high-tech & deep-tech entrepreneurship, initially from a research perspective during his PhD, later by founding an accelerator program. His mission is to support the creation and growth of innovative tech startups and spin-offs and help them thrive and create an impact. For over a decade, he has proudly been contributing to the success of imec.istart, Europe's no. 1 university-business accelerator according to UBI Global. Some of the tech startups he proudly helped accelerate: DataCamp, POSiOS (now part of Lightspeed), Ectosense (now part of ResMed), Molecubes, Deliverect, CitizenLab, Fibricheck, WeGroup, Limecraft, PieSync (now part of HubSpot), Smooved, Graphine (now part of Unity), UgenTec, Twikit, waylay, ontoforce, and many more.
