A European Union civil servant with over 20 years of service, Anna brings along experience in strategy, policy and operational domains from two EU institutions and postings in Brussels and Geneva. Her professional expertise cuts across internal and external EU policies, with focus on industrial policy and internal market, tourism, textiles, culture and creative industries, social economy and entrepreneurship, human rights and humanitarian affairs.  Before joining the EU civil service, Anna worked in Greece as Adviser to Ministers of Culture and was Director of Programme Planning for the 2004 Athens Cultural Olympiad. In parallel, she lectured on history of art and cultural management at various higher education institutions. Anna holds a B.A in Archaeology (Aristotelian University of Thessaloniki) and completed postgraduate studies in History of Art in USA (M.A, George Washington University) and the UK (Ph.D, Courtauld Institute of Art).
