Jarosław Sęp, Professor of Mechanical Engineering, Dsc, PhD, Eng, Head of Department of Manufacturing Processes and Production Engineering of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Aeronautics, Rzeszow University of Technology, Poland. He held the position of the dean of the Faculty in 2012-2019. Actually he is on the position of Vice Rector for Development and Cooperation and First Deputy Rector of Rzeszow University of Technology.
His current research interests are located in two areas: Manufacturing Processes Monitoring and Optimization and Tribology. Since 2009 he was/is involved (as a coordinator and a researcher) in 45 international and domestic projects concerning development of technologies and skills for industry. He was also involved in many projects for industry to improve manufacturing processes. He has more than 170 publications (books, chapters in books, articles in national and international journals and conference papers).
He is a member of: Polish Academy of Science, Mechanical Engineering Committee, Polish Tribology Society (President), Subcarpathian Hydrogen Valley (President), International Tribology Council (Vice President).
