Bertrand Bouchet is the Representative of CEA in Brussels. and plays a crucial role in shaping the organization’s European strategy. Prior to his current position, he has served as Managing Director for European Affairs at CEA, France (2018–2023). His career spans key advisory and diplomatic roles, including Advisor to the Director for International Relations at CEA (2015–2018), Science and Technology Counsellor at the French Embassy in Madrid (2011–2015), and Deputy Head of the Department for European and International Affairs at the French Ministry for Higher Education and Research (2009–2011). Earlier, he held positions as European Public Affairs Officer and Counsellor for Research at the Permanent Representation of France to the EU. Bertrand holds a Master’s degree in Mechanics from Université de Versailles St Quentin and is a graduate of Sciences Po Paris.
