Dariusz Marzec

Dariusz Marzec

Mr. Dariusz Marzec is a graduate of the University of Warsaw with a Master's degree in Organization and Management. He has extensive experience in managing and overseeing transactions and projects in the energy sector. 

From 1995 to 2004, he held managerial positions in international consulting firms PricewaterhouseCoopers (1995–2000, 2001–2004) and Arthur Andersen Poland (2000–2001). Between 2005 and 2007, he served as Vice President of the Management Board for Investments at Unipetrol a.s. (Czech Republic), where he was responsible, among other things, for preparing and implementing investment and organizational restructuring strategies, as well as overseeing M&A projects within the group. From 2004 to 2005, he held the position of Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of State Treasury in the government of Marek Belka. 

Between 2009 and 2013, he worked at KPMG Advisory, where he served as director responsible for the energy sector in the Central and Eastern Europe region, as well as financial and strategic advisory services for energy companies in Poland. 

From 2013 to 2016, he was affiliated with PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna S.A., serving as Vice President of the Management Board for Development. He was responsible, among other things, for preparing and supervising the implementation of the PGE Group Development Strategy for 2014–2020 and the PGE Group Investment Program. Additionally, he served as Chairman of the Supervisory Boards of PGE Mining and Conventional Energy S.A., PGE Renewable Energy S.A., and PGE EJ1 Sp. z o.o., as well as a Member of the Management Board of the Polish Electricity Committee.
