General Director and Board member of the Polish Association of Cosmetic and Detergent Industry (PACDI). Board member of the Cosmetics Europe – the Personal Care Association, Board member of the International Association for Soaps, Detergents Maintenance Products (A.I.S.E.). Association’s representative to the European Aerosol Federation (FEA). President of the Polish Society of Cosmetic Scientists (PSCS).
Chairperson of Technical Committee on Detergents, member of Technical Committee KT 334 on Cosmetic Products led by The Polish Committee for Standardization. Expert in international committees ISO/TC 217 and ISO/TC 91.
Responsible for strategy and development of the Polish Association of Cosmetic and Detergent Industry. Represents the cosmetic and detergent industry in relations with government representatives, NGOs and media.
Represented the Polish cosmetics industry in the Cosmetics Working Group of the European Commission, presenting industry positions and comments. Former expert in the European Commission's Expert Groups on Cosmetic Safety Assessment and on Marketing Claims.
Graduated from Chemistry Faculty of Warsaw University of Technology (Poland). Doctoral thesis - on the transepidermal transport of active ingredients in cosmetics (2003). Completed a three-year course on safety assessment of cosmetic products, organized by the IKW/DGK. For many years an academic lecturer on cosmetic chemistry and pharmacognosy. A member of program boards of industry journals, author of more than 150 articles published domestically and internationally, and a speaker at many national and international conferences.
