Francesca Girardi has been in EIT Manufacturing since its first year of operations, overviewing the development and implementation of the EIT Manufacturing Regional innovation Programme. After 4 years in the RIS Operations Manager role she moved to head the EU Affairs department within EIT Manufacturing where she is responsible for driving the KIC’s engagement with EU Institutions, identifying additional opportunities for collaboration with other EU organisations and ensuring the voice of the manufacturing community is heard at EU level. Before EIT Manufacturing, she has worked several years in Brussels within different industry associations in roles involving policy analysis, stakeholder engagement, strategic advocacy and EU project management.
