Frederic Lucenet heads the Manufacturing and Services group at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in London.
The group invests up to €1 BN a year in debt and equity projects. Projects finance private clients to maximise energy efficiency and decarbonisation in various industrial sectors, including e-mobility, metals, building materials, chemicals, hydrogen, bio-mass and recycling. Activities also include Policy Dialogue with Governments to support growth, FDI and the green transition.
EBRD is active in almost 40 economies across three continents, from the Southern and Eastern Mediterranean to Central and Eastern Europe to Central Asia. The EBRD is the largest institutional investor in Ukraine.
Frederic has held several board member positions for the EBRD, including at Societe Generale Romanian Development Bank and MS Pharma. A French national, he started his career at the World Bank Group in Washington. Frederic is an engineer with degrees from MIT and from the INSEAD MBA programme.
