Ihor Ivanchenko

Ihor Ivanchenko serves as the Head of the Economic Department at the Embassy of Ukraine in Spain. 

He graduated cum laude from the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine, earning a Master's degree in Foreign Policy. Additionally, he holds a Master's degree in Economics from Kyiv's Economic University and a Master's degree in Architecture and Fine Arts from the National Academy of Fine Arts. Ihor also has expertise in computer technologies. He studied network administration and cyber-security at the International Computer Academy 'STEP'. Furthermore, he is a part-time student at the Kyiv Polytechnic Institute (KPI) specializing in 'Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence'. 

Throughout his professional career, Ihor held various positions in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, including roles as the 1st Secretary for Political and Economic Affairs at the Embassy of Ukraine in India, the Head of the ASEAN section in the Asia-Pacific Department, the Head of the Africa Division, and the Head of the Economic Mission at the Embassy of Ukraine in Greece. He also has experience working in the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine and the State Agency for International Cooperation and Foreign Investment under the Government of Ukraine. 

Ihor actively participated in international programs such as the UNITAR-IPI Fellowship Programme in Oslo, Norway, and the International Visitors Program by USIA in the USA. He was also a member of the delegation representing 19 member-states of the Executive Boards of UNICEF, UNDP/UNFPA, and WFP, undertaking a UN inspection visit to Liberia. 

For his outstanding contributions, Ihor was awarded a diploma from the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and an Honorable Medal of the 1st degree 'For Achievements in International Education'.
