Vidmantas Janulevičius is the president of the Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists (LPK) - a major association in Lithuania that represents industrialists and employers. LPK members include most Lithuanian production enterprises, banks, trading companies, representative offices of foreign firms, research institutes, and educational establishments.
He is also the Chairman of the Board at Global BOD Group (GBG) - a high-tech group of companies, whose expertise dates back to 1998, when the first industrial CD factory in Lithuania was established in Vilnius. Since then, GBG has consistently embraced innovation and conducted extensive engineering research and development, leading to business expansion and diversification.
Presently, BOD GROUP encompasses 2 distinct sectors: solar technologies (SoliTek) and ophthalmic lenses (Bod Lenses). Both ventures share a key technological feature – thin layer coatings.
GBG, with its latest direction, battery storage, is now actively expanding its operations in various countries around the globe, primarily in Nordic Europe countries, as well as the Netherlands, Italy, France, Spain.
