Tadeusz Truskolaski; since 2006 Mayor of Bialystok (5th term). Since 2019 CEO of the Paweł Adamowicz Union of Polish Metropolises, concentrating 12 of Poland's largest cities, and also a Board member of the Association of Polish Cities. Represents local governments in the Monitoring Committee of the National Reconstruction Plan and in the Subcommittee on Green Mobility. Member of the Programme Council of the National Institute of Local Self-Government since 2024. He is currently working on the deregulation of Polish law as a Member of the Council of Experts on Local Goverments. He has held the position of advisor to the Minister of Regional Development. Participated in the work of the Ombudsman's Expert Committee on the development of assumptions of the spatial act. Worked in the Government Centre for Strategic Studies on the National Development Strategy and the Operational Programme Development of Eastern Poland. He headed the Regional Policy Department of the Marshal's Office at the Podlaskie Voivodeship.
He has been active in the EU Committee of the Regions since 2008 and has served as First Vice-Chair of the European Covenant Group and Vice Chairman of the ECON Committee since 2025.
